Here in Velia is where I highly recommend you to do your gear enhancement because the npc's are not far from each other. Over time you're going to aquire a lot of items and you need storage slots to store them. That is why the first thing I want new adventurers to do once they get to velia is to expand the storage using contribution points.

Each town has their own storage and silver. You will have to deposit silver in Velia to be able to purchase storage house. Gold bars that you get from quests rewards can be exchange in storage managers. Use the Find NPC icon to locate the storage manager in velia and exchange your gold bars.

Make sure your gold bars are in your inventory. Talk to ernill then choose "currency exchange" then your gold bars will be highlighted in your inventory.

You can decide whether you want the silver to go to your character or to storage of velia and in this case we want the silver to go to the storage since we need it to purchase a storage house. To exchange just right click all of your gold bars and select the quantity. (NOTE: You can also purchase gold bars.)

Press M to access world map then find Velia. Click the Velia castle icon to view available houses then on the upper right you can filter what you need the house for and in this case we need a storage house so select storage.

The arrow points to all houses that can be purchased as storage and I want velia 4 to be a storage house.

Once you click the house this window will pop up. You can see that this house can have up to level 2 storage and at level 1 it will give 3 more spaces, at level 2 it will give 5 more spaces.

Click purchase storage then enter and wait 1 min. You can see that this house requires 3 CP.

As mentioned above, this storage house has 2 levels and you need to level it up. Don't forget to purchase more storage houses.
